Each DA or section has a youth section where they organize weekends with your own dedicated camping area where youths can mingle and enjoy the company of other youths age between 12 and 18 but always looking out for each other.
You also have the opportunity to take your youth test before your 18th birthday and if you pass, it allows you to continue with the privileges of a Youth member until you are 21.
An added bonus is if you continue to be a Camping & Caravanning Club member you get reduced membership fees until you are 30 and also entitles youth to attend the international youth rally each year.
The Youth test comprises of camping skills such as pitching & erecting a tent, the use of stoves, map reading, first aid etc. You can find more information on this by going to the Youth Test page on the menu.
Central Counties organize two Youth Rallies, one in the winter and one in the summer. At each meet there are sports and trophies to be won.
The winter meet sports this year were go-karting and archery. This year TVDA supplied all the food.
The summer rally includes 5 aside football, volleyball, netball and fun sports and not forgetting the Volleyball
You also have the opportunity to attend the National Youth Rally where you have the chance to make friends with youth members from other parts of the UK.

Important Notice to Parents
All Youth Leaders, assistants and tester are all accredited by the Camping and Caravanning Club and have been vetted through the criminal records bureau. They must also carry Camping & Caravanning Club endorsed photo identification.
Please note the CCY area is not a baby sitting service and must not be treated as so; the youth leaders are there to guide the youth members where possible and assist in there camping experience.

We have a simple set of rules that we have implemented to ensure that you all stay safe and understand your commitments to the running of the area. Please make sure you understand them before entering the area.
Please note Alcohol and Smoking is not allowed within the youth area and under age drinking will not be tolerated.
