North Warwickshire DA will be holding 3 Temporary Holiday Sites (THS) this year providing an ideal affordable holiday destination and an alternative to commercial sites by utilising land exclusively available to the Club. Stewarded by experienced members who are always at hand to help with the friendly approach our Club is famous for.
While the majority of sites have basic facilities of fresh water and somewhere for waste disposal, others will have additional facilities such as toilets and showers. Please be aware however that none of our holiday sites has electrical hook up available. You can stay for a night or the entire duration and all fees paid go back into the Club to ensure that we can continue to offer future events for members.
- Gigrin Farm, Rhayader – May 25th May to June 3rd,2018. Based at the Red Kite Centre, this is an ideal base to discover the fantastic scenery of the Wye and Elan Valleys of mid Wales. The village of Rhayader is a short walk from the site and has supermarkets, shops and a number of pubs. If you are a keen walker or cyclist, this is the place for you.
- Isle of Wight – 25th June- 26th August 2018. The site is situated adjacent to Sandhills Caravan Park, Whitecliff Bay on the Isle of Wight, and is ideally situated for access to the beach as well as many attractions such as Osbourne House, Black Gang Chine and the Needles. Also new for 2018, we have an allocated field for those members with dogs.
- Lower Brailles – June 16th- 13th July, 2018. Located nr Shipston-on-Stour in the Cotswolds, the site at Lower Brailles is an ideal location from which you can discover the history of the small town, dating back to the Doomsday Book, and walks including one taking in the famous 99 steps linking Upper & Lower Brailes.
